Cheltenham and District Carers and Families is a voluntary organisation, independant from local authorities and all other national charities.

We are a support group of families and carers in Cheltenham and surounding areas, who have children with special needs.

We offer practical help, counselling and the opportunity to exchange information and offer mutual support.

We hold regular coffee mornings with occasional guest speakers on a variety subjects, such as benefits and statementing.

Toy libraries are held on one Saturday of each month, at Battledown Centre, with a wide range of specialist and regular toys, which may be borrowed for all members of the family.

We also hold events, activities and outings during the school holidays, for all the family. Swimming, music and outdoor fun at Seven Springs adventure playground are all regular features. Our coach trips and Christmas/halloween parties are also popular annual events.

Have a look at the Activities page and the calendar to see what we do. You can also read reports written by members about some of the events and see pictures in the gallery.

If you feel that your family needs support due to a child’s disability you can join. Just go to the Memership Application page and download the forms that you need to complete.
